MedFocus is fantastic!

I wanted to let you know what exceptional service I have received from MedFocus. When I call to schedule a diagnostic test they are professional and courteous at all times. X-ray and MRI appointments are set up quickly and we receive the report usually within two days. This is a big time saver; I don't have to call and track down reports, forward them to the doctor, etc. Also, because MedFocus is able to get reports back to us and the doctor so quickly there is no delay in either getting a patient back to the doctor when there is a problem, or getting them back to work.

MedFocus has such a large network of facilities. Even when Workers' Compensation patients live in very rural areas MedFocus has always been able to find a facility nearby for them.

Aside from ease of scheduling, cost containment and reliable service, one of the most beneficial adjuncts provided by MedFocus is the opportunity to discuss any result with Dr. Meisel. Like having my very own radiologist here in the room with me…for FREE! In one particular case, surgery was requested despite MRI results which to me did not support this. Wondering if I was indeed missing something, I put a call in to Dr. Meisel who in turn reviewed all the reports & films. His input provided me with a professional opinion I would not otherwise have had and upon my follow up discussion with the surgeon accordingly, surgery was not performed and the claimant was returned to full duty work. I have been an adjuster for a long time now and I am yet to see better service than the one I receive from MEDFOCUS; they do as they advertise. To place referrals is as easy as faxing over an authorization letter and from there they take over the scheduling within 48 hours. My claimants find the facilities to be very professional, I receive the faxed reports soon after testing and their charges are within fee schedule. MedFocus is so work friendly, professional and makes everything fast, convenient and accessible. I just dial extension 8999 and transfer the caller for any diagnostic testing request and hang-up. Thereafter, like less than three (3) minutes, I will receive a telephone call from a MedFocus Representative confirming authorization.
