radiology medical necessity, surgically significant report findings, pitfalls
in testing, chronicity or disc herniations, etc. These in-services cover the brain, spine, knee and
shoulder. |

Consultations and Second Opinions
for nurses and adjustors on radiology cases may include which study
is best for an indication, what is the meaning and significance of a radiology
finding in a report, is this finding surgically significant, etc. |

Chronicity Determinations on MRI,
CT and radiology findings with aging of disc herniations and bulges, menisceal
and cruciate ligament tears, rotator cuff tears, spinal compression fractures
and other conditions. |

Peer Review involving grievances brought
about by referring physicians or other parties related to the quality of
the study or professional interpretation. The films are immediately
sent to MRN for review. Any necessary rereading is rapidly
performed by MRN MRI radiologists. If the study has to be repeated,
it is done at MRN's expense with the site being put on probation with a
remedy process. |
